Angry Firewall

Ok.. just an FYI... A link to check if you're interested.

As I type this, I'm getting more...In the past 3 days I've been getting hammered from basically the same place/area. Firewall gets more about every 2 minutes. HackerWatch.org

All are to the same ports and have been reported. The link provided shows substantial activity for whatever reason.

McAfee, but would like to try something else as well. The activity coming across my poor dial-up is undeniable. Rather... umm, shall we say, bothering me? To put it nicely?!

Did you speak to your ISP yet? They may be able to change your IP address for you and thus get rid of this pest immediately. Did you also run a scan for Trojans? http://download.nai.com/products/mca...rt/stinger.exe

No, I haven't bothered with the ISP as each time I log on, it is a different IP addy. As for the Trojans.. I do that regularly. I am a big fan of Stinger. It has helped me out many a time. And the newer versions are more specific as well. Running Avast, which was updated this morning, and has worked well for me too. Caught some things in places I never expected to need to.

Still.. I'm going to run that one that you posted, just in case.
