Oh you can run XP w 256... but you need to tweak it down a bit to get any speed-- The eye candy and default services are what demands the RAM. If you check the XP services guide in my sig-- Black Viper's site can help a lot.

LoL!! WoWzers Eagle!!! I cringe when I get that much runnin on this! I'm at that 384 that you are going to, but methinks I'm losing something somewhere. She just seems to slow more than she should at times.. Got posts in memory about it.. valis has been looking at it. This MB has 3 slots.. says it will do 3G of mem.... just wish the $$ were there to doit!!
That and maybe a bit later a processor too.. this is supposed to be able to handle a 2.4G... we'll see... someday! LoL Got a friend who says he has another 128 stick... think I'll ad that, if it's worth it just to get that little extra.

I have a version of 2000, but I can't find the key code. I had it in once, but it seemed like I kept getting bugs galore, even with the McAfee running. I dunno.. maybe it was just something stupid I did. But yes, I think I should try it again... might help a lot of problems.

I used to use ZoneAlarm but having only 256 MB of RAM, I cann't run it because it is a known memory hog. Comodo takes much less resources and that is what I use.
