Angry [Resolved] Vista... access denied

In Vista HP, does anyone know how to bypass the MS's Security access denying function? I'm the only user on MY computer, so I'm also the Administrator. Yet, there are sections of Vista that Vista will not let me have control over.

That might be appropriate for a company's network or a FAMILY computer, but MS seems to have forgotten what the P in PC stands for... ** PERSONAL **

This?

TweakVista.com - Disable UAC (User Account Control)

I don't own Vista...but this site is one I've used for XP for years
millions of tweaks. They are trying to sell a tweaking app-- but they are not pushy-- and list the manual methods.

Hehe..i think i know what you mean wabeard

If you right click on the folder in question, goto Sharing and Security (if that's not there, goto Properties). Click on the Security tab, and then select Advanced. Select the Owner tab, (you may have to hit an Edit button) select your username, check the box that says "Replace owner...." and Apply/OK out of all windows.
You should now have access to them.

GaRHaR it's when you do that and the computer says no you can't.

I'm going to try ih8bills suggestion and see what happens.

I'll let you know.
