Default USB Thumb Drive Security!

Hey all,

I had to buy a new thumb drive today after losing my old one and the old one had some important files on it. I want to get some security on my new one so if i lose it, i dont have to worry that much.

I have tried searching on google but all i find are thumb drives with some kind of program build into them for security, but as i already have a new one, i dont want to go with that option...

All im looking for is a program i can install on the thumb drive (not the host pc!), that will make it so before you can look at / move the files you have to type in a password.

Does anyone know of a program like this, or even use one like this? If so could you link me please

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Hi Reyer,

See if this sounds like what you're looking for:

Password protect USB drive | Cryptainer LE review

Hope this helps!!
