I would like to know what everyone's thoughts are on what's the best All-In-One Security Suites (Anti-Virus, Firewall, Anti-Spyware etc...).

I am currently looking for one and was wondering which one is the best.

Thanks in advance

Hi Fools Gold and welcome to PCHF

Personally i think you are better off with separate programs for each as there is more focus on each individual rather than main parts with in an all-in-one. You will get the same opinion from Ladygreenwitch as well.

But don't get Symantec Norton - it hogs resources and slows down your PC immensly.

Chris

Thanks for your reply

I'm using

Comodo Firewall Pro (Free)
AVG Anti-Virus (Free)
Abuse Shield (Free)
Spybot SD Tea-Timer (& the other one) Free

Ok, my next question... lol...

Which is the Best...

Anti-Virus?
Firewall?
Anti-Spyware?

Free or Pay For Ones

nice set you have there already - i would say your fine

Antivirus - Free: AVG or Avast really. Paid for: NOD32 (but a bit advanced)
Firewall - Free: Comodo or Zonealarm. Paid: not sure.
Antispyware - Not sure.

Im unsure about a few but one of the security team should be able to help you better

Hello fools gold, and welcome to pchf. Nod is an antivirus app. As upgrader said, you've got a pretty good setup already, if you are satisfied, I wouldn't change a thing. I use avg antivirus and antispyware, and zonealarm firewall, and have had zero problems with them. Having said that, by far and away the most important part is the knowledge of the user. I don't use torrent clients, as those are notorious for viruses, and have seen people that are zipped up to the gills get infested there. Just be smart on the web, and your set up should take care of you.

I'd also recommend firefox, but that's more of a personal thing.

Although Firefox is suppose to be the most secured browser I do find it a bit slow when it comes to displaying some graphics. I love all the Add-Ons that you can download but for speed I use Maxthon browser.

I used to use ZoneAlarm but changed to Comodo Firewall. There are so many out there, just don't know which one's are the best lol
