Could someone find me a suitable PSU on Amazon.co.uk: low prices in Electronics, Books, Music, DVDs & more please , by suitable i mean i don't want an 8 terawatt diomand encrusted psu ripped straight from the mellenium falcon anything to do the job for this card thanks alot

Also are PSU's hard to install, what problems could i face?

Hellothedudesam, Welcome back to PCHF!

The connector in question is a PCIE (PCI Express) connector. Your graphics card requires 2 of them.

What kind of money are you looking to pay for a PSU, and are you willing to buy from other sites, or just Amazon?

I enclose a picture of the connectors so you can see what I mean!

Looking forward to your reply,

Smokeycheech

Our systems look pretty similar, I have got a Hiper 880w and it does me fine.

Hiper 880W 85% Efficient PSU - Quad SLI Ready, 4x 12V Rails - Ebuyer

Is that price too high?

Sorry, I forgot about the last question in your post!

In my experience, fitting a new PSU is relatively easy, just open the case, unplug all connectors from the motherboard, hard drive, DVD ROM etc then unscrew the 4 screws holding the PSU in the back of the case, and gently remove.

In all my cases I have never had a trouble removing it because of components being in the way, but maybe some do depending on the cases?

Then it's as simple as screwing the new one in the case and connecting up all the connectors again! You cant really go wrong, you would know if you were trying to fit a connector in a socket that it didn't belong in!

Thats my 2 cents anyhoo!

Dude your awesome ,thanks for the replies.

£80 is a bit steep for what i wanted to spend on a power supply, maybe £40-£60 i was hoping to aim for. Also i would greatly prefer amazon please.

Ok, Have a look at this one, it is a few pound above your budget, but it is a reputable make and it has all the connectors that you should need
