Smile no power to pc

hi all
am running XP , pentium 4 2 ghz. my pc wont start at all, have checked all internal connections, cleaned all dust out and replaced the PSU with one I know is working but still no luck. many thanks for your help

Hi and you have checked all mainboard connections are fully seated on the mainboard?

Have you got another power supply unit to test on your system?

This could be the CPU are you sure it is compatable with your mainboard?There maybe a failed power supply?Are you sure CPU is connected and replaced in the right position?Do you put thermal paste on it?

Was the pc running before you replaced CPU?
