Default power issues

can the power supply be considered faulty even if the computer starts with the green led on . and also i got another power supply with a fan on it that don't spin at all when the computer on. could that be the reason why i don't see anything on screen

hi clark! ok, you have a power supply that turns the computer on, the fan turns, but nothing shows up on the screen? Is that right?

If the green power light is on even if the computer is off, it's just that the LED wires could be plugged into the motherboard incorrectly.

If the PSU's fan doesn't work though then it means it's burned out and needs replacement
