Default just a simple laptop battery question

Hi,

just got a new laptop and i was just wondering if i can connect the power suply without having the battery inserted (trying to conserve battery life)?

Hello nuyorican, And welcome to PC Help Forum.

It is possible in some laptops. Like my old Toshiba but leaving the battery out won't make that much of a difference. Battery life is measured in charging cycles. It is better to just let the laptop maintain the charge like they are supposed to.
