I find about 4 event id's under 1001, one of which appears to be a system failure after a windows defender scan. I'll see if I can find anything else.
EDIT: The only other system event under 1001 was the startup repair, and it seems to have worked correctly.
I'll disable defender scans and see how it goes.

While you do that, can you please also attach the contents of C:\WINDOWS\MiniDump to your next post for analysis? Thanks.
