PSU and Overheating Issues - my computer wont work :( posted in the Hardware forums; ok i just broke my computer... i did a really stupid thing... 1 of my rams where not reading so i pushed it in as the computer was turned on....why ...

Default my computer wont work :(
ok i just broke my computer... i did a really stupid thing... 1 of my rams where not reading so i pushed it in as the computer was turned on....why i dont know cos i knew something would happen... and then the computer just switched off

now every time i start the computer up a blank screen is on... whats happened to it or should i say what will i need to replace

Hi runnerjp and welcome to PCHF,

The ram that you pushed in can you take it out (with the PC turned off) and then try booting as long as you still have one ram stick still in.

no it all starts and just goes to blank screen... cant turn it off or anything
