A power supply connector carries different voltages on the pins of the connector. There can be a ground pin, a positive five volt pin, a negative five volt pin, a positive twelve volt pin, a negative twelve volt pin. If you connect the wrong pins to the wrong receptors, you can feed positive12V into the ground receptor and that will not have good results.

When dealing with a power supply connect, never try to "make it fit".

Just a question but what size is your power supply? I have a 750 watt and much less than you, I would hope you have over 600 watts..

Another thing you will have to worry about if you are using a low rated Power Supply Unit is how hot that thing will get. The more strain the more heat until POP, and will go on fire.

I already use Speed Fan i use it to check my temp. Since i don't have AC, in the summer i have to watch how hot it gets. But right now its nice and cool in here.

Well i got them specs for ya. Maybe you can tell me what some of this stuff is. Like i said i got his power supply with my case for free from a freind so i know it sucks. I think its only 400w i really, need to just get a new one don't i.
