Red face how do i check my power supply?

hi, im new to this and i know very little about computers. i want a new graphics card, i have a nvidia 7300le which is awful so i thought the sapphire readeon x1950 pro would be a good choice. i was told, in another forum that it would work on my pc if i had a 350w on a 18A rail power supply. how do i check my power supply? without opening my case if possible? thanks for any help you can give me.

The only way i know of to check your power supply is by opening the case.

Although I don't see how this is much of a problem because it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes, the name/model of the psu should be just on the side of it so you won't be messing around with any of the hardware.
