Default New PSU issues.

Hi everyone, Yesterday I bought a new 700watt SATA 24+4 PSU, I took my old one out and installed the new one, easy enough I thought as this was my first time. Once reassembled and ready to go I switched on the power lead then switch on at the back of my pooter and noticed the keyboard lights flashed as they usually would, but when I press the power up button, nothing. I presume the PSU must be working if the keyboard lights flash or am I wrong? As the PSU is A SATA PSU will it still work if my drives are IDE drives? and how can i check? I do remember my pooter saying not enough drives to make a raid array so does this mean i have bought the wrong PSU? I'm at a loss I double checked all the connections and they seem fine, i'm at a loss as to what is causing this. Any help will be appreciated.

Default Re: New PSU issues.

What Power- supply/Motherboard Brands + Models
Drive-types should not make a diff --as long as there are connectors-- SATA-- just means it's SATA compatible
This is a standard Power-up button? Not on the keyboard ?
