Default new PSU still at 55 C

Just upgraded my power supply to a seasonic 650W PSU cuz my 400W ultra was at 55C accroding to SpeedFan

upgrading should of fixed the temp, plus I added a new rear fan. but new PSU is still at same temp. HOT at 56C during game play

system:

Pentium D 2.8ghz w/ ultra pure copper tunnel heatsink + fan
nvidia 7800gs agp
creative labs sound blaster X-Fi platinum w/ front rack mount
2 sticks of 1 gig sd ram @ 3200
SATA Western digital 320gig HD 8x
LG 18x dvd burner
20" wide screen samsung monitor
I have a dedicated rear fan to the nvidia card that sits in pci slot (doesnt connect to mobo)
and another rear fan inbetween PSU and CPU (heatsink)

think thats it

PSU sites say I only require a 550Watt PSU to run what I have. I have a 650W top of line Nvidia SLI compatable PSU, and still running hot

any help?

thanks

DK

Hi welcome to the forum Do you mean the processor CPU is hot or the power supply PSU?

no I mean the power supply. I did have CPU tempature issues, but settled that with a new heatsink. I also had/have power supply tempature issues, and hoped that upgrading to a new 650W PSU from a 400W would do the trick.. but speedfan 4.32 says its still hot
