Default Few Beeps then Shutdown

Currently, I've bought a new harddrive as well as a PSU and a new video card. There is a problem now though. I have installed all of them correctly, I believe. I gave the paripheal cords to my CD-Rom, DVD-Rom drives. I've also Given one to my new Hard Drive. I have the sata hooked up to a sata slot on my motherboard. I Also have the PCI-E power cord plugged into the correct spot. I've removed my new video card and replaced it with my old one. Still, nothing changed. I still get the beeping noise then it turns off at random seconds such as 2-10 seconds of being on. I don't even have a Operating System installed on it. Although I did happen to removed the fan sitting on my mother board to remove and place the new PSU inside of the case, correctly. I've tried unscrewing it again and loosing it up a little bit. But still, no difference. I used a can of compressed air and got rid of alot of dust, so its all cleaned out. Now that's my only problem I cannot get it to stay on, I've gotten into my bios and looked through it trying to reset it to defaults, then it powers off. I got into the boot menu once thinking I could then install my OS but it failed. Please help, thank you.

Hi there welcome to the forum you mention "Although I did happen to removed the fan sitting on my mother board" are you talking about the CPU fan? if this is not pluged in corectly or the CPU will over heating due to no thermal paste would cause this type of problem and turn the PC off.

There is some thermal paste on there though. I felt the fan when the computer shut down, it wasn't at all hot or warm. Should I get a tube of thermal paste and fix it up?

Everything inside turns on, its all hooked up correctly. I was getting the beep codes when I had my newer video card in, I think its not recognized by the motherboard but Im working on getting it running before worrying about that.
