An old *** socket A for my 3200

The 4600 is under consideration for the upgrade.

never heard of a socket a, must be b4 the time i got the pc upgrade bug.
you'll definately have to upgrade board to go for quad.
boards aint as expensive as cpu's anyhow, may be worth saving that 75 quid on a processor now and putting it towards a new mobo when am2+ comes out in the summer.
then you'll only have the cpu to fork out on,
dont go am2! this will be one of those times you wished you'd waited!

Why are you against my Fan Farm of 60 :P

I was just seeing how high it can go, I don't know a few of the options selectable, so I think it may be able to go a few volts higher... or you can OC your processor to extreme...

Well the question about Over Voltage and Over Current I asked was because my PSU says:

- Protections against Over Current, Over Voltage, and Short-Circuit.

why would they write 2 diff things if they ment the same thing..

And since I have protection, it would mean that only the PSU would get fried? And not the gems inside? Right?
