Default ASUS M2R32 MVP Motherboard heating issue

hey guys

Got my motherboard back from asus today , also have a new case and some fans for it which I posted pics of earlier. Okay.... so I go into the bios to check my temperatures and Im surprised to find that my cpu temp is at 35 c , but my motherboard temp is around 50 c??? So , I touch both the heatsinks on the board, and they are HOT , I mean , if you keep your finger on it for more than five seconds , it'll start to burn. I installed the drivers and everything for it, checked for old drivers, and its still there. All of my other temperature readings on my components are healthy , I have all fans maxed out in RPM , so what's the big idea? :s

hey there,
The heatsink drains heat from the processor through conduction and is then radiated by the air from the fans. They must be hot 'cause they are conductors of heat and your fans seem to be doing enough to keep processor temp at 35 degrees celcius.

yea.... but before the bios chip went bad and I sent it to ASUS , motherboard was usually hovering at 25-30 c. So I get it back and temps are automatically 20 degrees higher?
Then again, my house's ambient temperature right now when I write this is around 85 degrees F. stupid heater wont turn off, I got the ac going on max, gonna be awhile before it kicks in.
