Default What ads to publish on my site

Hello,
What are the best ads to publish on my website? I tried google ads, but they declined me and I'm not sure why. I read the whole thing on the guidelines to help be accepted, and I followed all of them... Can I re-enlist in the program next week and see if I'll get accepted?

So, do you recommend any others? I looked at adds by yahoo, but you have to pay them taxes. What kind of ripoff is that?

Thanks,
Ello

It is an off the topic website (oh no not another one of them :P)

Off The Topic Community

Note: Might be offline for a few minutes as I am currently updating the software on it.

But I am looking for some nice ads, but no pop-ups or those one's that give you epilepsy :P

Hey Ello,

I would continue to put your name in to google. I also don't think that paying a small percentage in taxes is necessarily a bad thing when you are starting out.

Personally, I always feel that advertisement should reflect the needs of the users on the site, they are the ones after all who will be clicking on the ads. If I were you I would look for advertisers with that in mind. Or do a poll of your users to see what they would find usefull.

Looking forward to your reply,

Ok, so send another application back to google right now?

Also, I have been doing some searches in google, but I am having no luck with finding a good site to publish some nice ads.

Thank you for taking some interest into my topic too
Ello

Hey Ello,

You are welcome, we try to help whenever we can.

I would continue to resubmit your application to Google, unless they have given you very specific reasons not to.

What exactly to you mean Publish nice ads? Do you mean that you want to advertise your site with other websites? Again, I think that connecting with others who have similar interests is important. What do you have to offer that is unique, and helpful to their users? That is usually the best method for determining your niche. Define who you are, who you appeal to, what you have to offer to other users, other sites, and then market that. If you are paying to advertise on another site, it is even more imperative that there be a reason for their users to click on your ad.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN
