I've just checked and it looks as though it doesn't support FrontPage. I'm with NTL, now Virgin Media. I'm quite happy with angelfire but I'm concerned that people won't come back to my site if they keep seeing adult orientated banner ads and pop-ups. I know they can be blocked with Ad-Blockers and Pop-Up Blockers but I suppose not everyone likes using those

You're right about that - it was my first thought when I entered the site. I will pm MadMonkey and see if he has any experience of free hosts....

Sorry guys, this is one area where I'm a complete noob, I've never really got into using Front Page Extentions, even though I do tend to use Front Page itself. I was frustrated by them after being so used to using FTP and writing my own code to do what I needed to do. I didn't like my links being updated and automatically uploaded for me without my knowledge, as well as the extra files that these extentions creates (vti/memory files)... is too much for my monkey head to tolerate!

plus.net used to host Front Page, but have since started charging £5 per month, and you only have 50mb web space.

The ad's on your site IMO are annoying, but it's a good start to your site.

I don't really want to pay for a host until I've got a good enough site up. There must be one out there that I can get to work, I will keep trying

Do you think I should pull my site from angelfire until I find one?

I installed Frontpage Extensions on Awardspace.com but when I try to publish my site FrontPage keeps telling me that the extensions are not enabled.

Nah, don't pull the site Paul - use the space you have to experiment and get the "look" right - then when the time is right, you can move your better looking site and your increased skills to a more flexible setup with another host
