hi...the camera still doesnt work...now i have a message saying i need to restart computer for upgrades to work i do that and then the same message comes up on loading again....sorry....other than that it still seems the same...thanks

You may want to reinstall the Logitech camera software.
I will get the tech team to jump in here regarding your other issues. Meanwhile, it's time to remove ComboFix. Go to to Start > Run Type in box combofix /u Note: the space between the X and the /u Press Enter. This command will: Delete the following: ComboFix and its associated files and folders. VundoFix backups, if present The C:\Deckard folder, if present The C:_OtMoveIt folder, if present Reset the clock settings. Hide file extensions, if required. Hide System/Hidden files, if required. Reset System Restore. |

hi...opps i already deleted combofix but kept the malware...have i stuffed it all up sorry for all your hard work if i have..you can swear at me
oh and i did uninstall the software for the camera...reinstalled..still didnt work...uninstalled it again then went to their website and downloaded it from there and it still doesnt work !!...go figure ..thanks

With the camera's, more often than not, it doesn't get everything. Either one. Going to the website for their latest downloads is often a bad idea as well. Try removing all instances of the camera name and where ever it stored your pics (yes, move those somewhere else first, renamed) with a regular file search.. be sure to include 'hidden and system files'.. this will increase the time it takes, but will be well worth it. This includes the new download you got from their website. You can always bring that down again, if needed. From there, install the cam software like it is the very first time, from the original disc.. forget the updates until it is working.. Please let us know how this goes.. Sometimes these devices sit on store shelves a while and new software is released in the meantime.... An update would be appreciated
