So i was downloading some stuff from limewire [<the problem seems to show up right away XP]
and then i got this virus. it just happened today.
alot of weird stuff started happening, like limewire starting up on its own, and ads up the ***.
the comp was running ALOT slower, and the internet along with other programs were unresponsive.
i uninstalled limewire, and all the new software that i found on my comp [i.e. AdzGalore games] and with all that stuff deleted, something is still telling my computer to open limewire [although all i get is the warning screen telling me it cant be found]
my anitvirus found a trojan and some adware, that i ended up deleting, and my computer still has problems. i still cant run internet explorer, but all the others seem to work fine now.
ill be on all night, answering any additional info, please someone respond, its pretty seriouse

Hi Welcome to PCHF.. For legal reasons we'd need to say PCHF don't support or condone the use of illegal software such as limewire. As long as any illegal software uninstalled we can help. Would you be ok with that mzaric?

of course, as i mentioned i already uninstalled limewire, and as of my experiences from today, will NOT be using it anymore =D

um problem, i cant type anything in the browser other than the address =/
im on another computer(my brothers =P) looking for help. making it pretty impossible for me to download those files into my comp.
