Pending: Processor running at only half speed? Help :(

So, i was installing halo, and it told me upon install that my processor was only using half of its speed (50%).

I'm just wondering, is it possible my processor is now only running at half speed? if so, how did this happen and how can i put it up to max speed?

Is there any safety risks with putting it up to max? if so, what is the recommended speed i put it at? thanks

Hello simonxdahliah,check your temps and a possible problem could your PSU not running at full power and or your FSB going to default.. I think you may want to check your temps first...

Sorry, i'm using a desktop HP pc.

triplecore AMD PHENOM 2.10ghz processor.

And uh, how do i check the temp?

is that what you mean?

It looks like your graphics card is running hot,you may need to check to see if all your fans are running and or if your tower needs a good cleaning.

That -128c must be a bad sensor ,but your other temps are fine...

EDIT: Also what were you running when you ran speedfan scan?
