Some info: I have an Acer Aspire 7520, with the above mentioned AMD Turion, I have essentially been using it as a desktop since mine died months ago. Now, I have had some issues with it running icredibly slow. For instance, if I play a java game online, it will bog everything down. Things I have eliminated as issues are; excessive programs running, this isn't an issue because I have opened up task manager and eliminated anything that is eating up cpu that wasn't important. The possibility of it running hot is not a problem, because it has adequate ventilation and even a cooler running under it. I have 4G of ram and I don't readily use any more than half that. I'm at a loss for words for the frustration this has brought me. Any advice would greatly appreciated. Thanks!
