Smile Upgrading my laptop

Almost 4 years ago I bought a Dell Inspiron 9200. It came with a 1.6ghz Pentium M centrino CPU and 512mb of ram.

I recently upgraded the ram to its max at 2gb, now I want to put in a new CPU. When I ordered the laptop, the fastest CPU option at the time was 2.0ghz.

My question is what is the fastest CPU that will work with my laptop today?

I think it is possibly only a 2.0GHz Pentium M processor as a replacewment CPU.

I found this 2.1ghz pentium M:
Intel Pentium M 765 2.10GHz 400MHz 2MB CPU, OEM -- RH80536GC0452M

the pentium M CPUs are classed as 715, 725, 730, 735, 740, 745, 750, 760, 765

The CPU I found is a 765. I can't seem to find any info if this CPU will work with a Dell Inspiron 9200.

I've read a few different things on this. They all mention putting a 765 in it. This may heat up your laptop a little more than you'd like, but it should give a performance boost. I say go for it.
