Default Difference between these processors...?

Hi, this is first time here and I was wondering if any of you would be able to tell me what the difference between a XPS 630, Intel Core2 processorQ6600 (2.40Ghz,1066FSB) w/Quad Core Technology and 8MB cache and a Intel(R) Celeron(R) D CPU 3.20GHz is?

Is one better than the other? I ordered a new computer off of Dell and this is one of the best I saw they offered for 'gaming PCs', the Intel Core2 one I mean. ANY information on the differences in these two would be awesome. Thank you very much to whoever replies.

The Core2Duo there is a quad core, meaning it basically is 4 processors in one. And it is 2.4 GHz which is really good. I highly recommend this one.

The Celeron D is faster but will not be equivalent to the Core 2 Duo.

Thanks alot! I was looking at my Dxdiag file and was like... wait a minute, this processor is faster... so, in short the one I'm getting is abit slower, but more horsepower. Cool.
