Unhappy Help? with pentium 4

Hi guys i have had my pc for about four years now. It has 3.5 GB Ram, Socket 478 Pentium 4 running at 3.0 GHZ, and a XFX Geforce 7950 GT lately it has been running really bad. I use to be able to play any game on it almost all high quality and have great frames per second now i can't even play counter-strike source on high and get more then 30 FPS. I have tried different video cards same result i bought new ram same result tried formatting same thing The only thing left is to buy a new processor

unless you guys have any ideas

please any help with be amazing thank you in advance

My first suggestion is for you to download and install this program (it's free) CCleaner ... Alternative Download.
1. After installing...run the program...
Before the first use, select Options > Advanced and UNCHECK "Only delete files in Windows Temp folder older than 48 hours"
Click on Analyzer...then click on Run Cleaner.
2. On the left side of the window, click on Registry...click on Scan for issues...click on Fix selected issues.

This program will cleanup your temp files and cookies.

My next suggestion is to click on DriverAgent.com Fix Your Driver Problems Instantly with DriverAgent and attach the free driver report to your next reply posting.

First, save the scan report by clicking on (at the top of the IE window) Page ... Save As...
Save the webpage in the .mht format. Recommend saving the report to your Desktop. That will make it easier to find.

To attach the report/file during a posting, look below the Message: text window.
You will see a Manage Attachments button. Click on the button, then click on browse to select the file you saved to your Desktop.
