Hello Venomnz

Welcome to PCHF
Typically a problem like that is related to memory. Either your RAM or video memory. The order I would use to troubleshoot a problem like that is...
1. Reseat the memory. That means to take your memory out and put it back in. I usually switch memory banks at that time as well.
2. If that didn't help, then I'd run Memtest86. It is a free memory diagnostic program. If you click the link at the bottom of my post, you can download it there and they give you instructions to make a boot CD. You will boot the computer to that CD you make with it and it will start automatically. Let it go through a couple passes and look for red errors.
3. If you don't find any errors during Memtest, then last I'd try to reseat your video card and test a different video card. If you are using a third party video card and have on-board video, then take the video card out and switch to your on-board video card.
If you still have the same problem after all that testing, then I'd suspect a problem on your motherboard. If it is a laptop, the only thing you can try is the memory. If reseating the memory and running Memtest doesn't solve the problem, then your problem is on the motherboard and most likely uneconomical to repair.
Try those things and tell me how it turns out.
