lol. I have been around the block a bit too, merlin. lol. While the type of cooler he has is not as effective as the tower cooler, it should do a good job. Either way, it will do a better job pushing air through the heatsink than pulling. take the fan off, and put your hand in front of the airflow, and behind the fan. which has higher velocity airflow?
That cooler looks good. I have heard really good things about those kind of coolers, the only thing it looks like it could be really big.

Ya the one he is looking at is huge.. A buddy of mine from a lan party had one but he has a coolermaster stacker....And he could not use his first 2 ram slots.. SO you might want to check the dimensions as AW said.. I just love that new carbon based one though.. There saying it drops temps from 27c with a reg heatsink to 11c

Also after reading a little bit I dont like this


Total Power Dissipation:
- 0% Load = 5 W
- 50% Load = 28 W
- 100% Load = 50 W
Even the freezer 64 takes away 100 watts of heat... The zerotherm takes away 150 watts of heat.. SO just look around for other reviews..
