Ok then here is one for you! I am poor....I need a video card that will out perform my current card BUT I don't want to spend more than say $80 and you know I am an Nvidia fan; what card should I get? Keep in mind that I am using a AGP 8x port with some older equipment such as DDR 400 ram!

Hey ! Watch it (LOL)-- That's what I'm running-- with an ATI Radeon X800 Pro--but obviously ...I'm no gamer.
I'm saving for my new rig--

I went out and got a EVGA 7300 GT and it helped out a lot. I can actually play some games now! It is kinda weird though....I run fraps and try to record games but it really struggles then; never did that before.... I think this will hold me over for a while untill I can get a new computer with DDR3 ram and 2 quad core processors...........

lol. dont even bother with DDR3 for several more years. stick with good ol DDR2. But as for the C2Q, go for it!

Yeah your right about DDR3, its to new but it looks promising in the future; DDR2 800 seems to be good enough for these days. I think DDR3 works well in gaming video cards as GDDR3 but as ram it is still a little touchy.

yeah GDDR3 and GDDR4 are far superior to GDDR2 (GDDR2 is not truly DDR2) DDR2-800 is plenty fast enough for all applications.
