Default [Moved] properties of processor

hi,when i right click on my computer on desktop and choose properties a weird problem occurs,i have a 1.86ghz dual core processor, yet at times when i look at the properties at the bottom of the page it says 727mhz or something like that,anyway, how come sometimes the computer doesnt register it as another 1.86ghz processor.please help me.thx.mhd.this has happend often by the way and this is a new computer.should i be worried??

Grab this tool - it will confirm your processor make, model speed etc and hopefully put your mind at rest:

heya mhd. its pretty Simple. Intel speedstep clocks down the processor when its not under heavy load, thus reducing power consumption and heat output, and this is likely what you are seeing here.
