Question [Answered] Compatability of Viiv processors with XP

Hi guys,

A number of computers on the Dell website now say that they are only compatible with Vista, and not XP; it seems that these computers all have Intel Viiv processors. I'm curious as to whether Dell/Intel are actually telling the truth here - i.e., are these computers incapable of running XP or are Dell/Intel making it up in order to sell more copies of Vista?

Jim.

Cheers: I'm guessing that Intel are saying that Viiv processors do work with XP - there's probably some deal between Microsoft and Intel which is designed to sell more copies of Vista...
