Default Fanless CPU
Hey i was looking at this - Thermalright HR-01 Plus 6-Heatpipe CPU Cooler (Socket 775 / AM2) - FrozenCPU.com

i have got a core2duo e6850 and the fanless coolers are pretty cheap and i really want my pc to be as quiet as possible, should i get one?

I would not recommend it. It is acutally designed to be used with a Fan. I recommend buying one with a really quiet fan. The e6850 runs cool, but without a fan it will get pretty hot pretty quick.

Oh i see, the problem is i cannot locate a relatively quiet fan that will fit in my case-antec designer 500/550

What about the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7? Its small (compared to quite a few others) and does an excellent job cooling, and is very quiet
