Post Heat Pipes?

I basically narrowed it down to my micro atx case. Too tight, not enough airflow etc.

I moved it all to a new case. More room etc. But now hsf doesn't fit.

Index of //ts/all/tr/exes/e2

As you can see from all 4 photos the heat pipes from the cpu cooler are very close to my ram. And I can only use 1 ram. The other is blocked.

It's not hitting it but its very close. Would it be a concern. Maybe melt the ram or something. Should I take it back and get a new cooler. Or just use it like that.

Thanks,
ivnj

That doesn't seem right at all. Return the cooler if you bought it separately or just buy a new one. That's not good for your RAM and obviously you can't upgrade due to it.

What if I add a ram sink infront of the ram. Wouldn't that collect the heat and keep the ram from burning.

I might, or it might make it worse, and like I said it will block your other ram slot and it just doesn't seem as if it goes correctly with your hardware.

I will take it back tomorrow. But I just need a basic system. I don't need upgradeability. 1gb is enough. So I don't care if it is blocking 1 slot. 1gb is enough.

Yes definetly take it back. it will probably overheat your memory. i reccomend this one if you are space limited Spire LGA775 CPU Cooler
