I diod even better. I realized the cooler was backwards. So I switched it around. Now the bios says 45s. And speedfan says 38c. I even got a quick 36c for 2 seconds.

When your processor is at around 40C in Windows is the fan spinning fast?Does it stop spinning after any temperature lower than that?

No thermaltake v1 has the 3pin so mb doesn't control it. It stays high all the time. But at least I'm not overheating now.

75W to 90W is what I've been finding, I'd say it's safe to assume around 80W on full load.
