If you look closely those instructions are technically showing a different model however in the picture the clips come to rest close to were mine do. I'm starting to think more and more that I have simply been to chicken to really push it on there. Is there any way to tell if you really are pushing to hard or does that only come with time and more experience?

From what I can see the 4 holes should line up and clip in you can use a fair bir of preesure to clip it in. It will take a bit to push it in so it clips thight enough so it won't fall off.
