Alright,
So my PC is a P4 2.8 Ghz. However it is running at 1865.2
It has always been this way and I have never been able to figure it out. I built the system myself, and at the beginning I tried and tried everything I could think of. (This was numerous years ago now). In the bios I can't find anything to control the speed of the processor. (Was able to overclock on my previous amd athlon) The only thing I can find is the "
CPU PnP Functions" menu which displays voltage, frequency but not the
CPU speed and that menu was LOCKED. I couldn't unlock it either.
So I am wondering, is there anyway to get it running to its correct speed?
I've attached a screenshot of my SysSpec so you can see what the speed is but also what the actual operating speed is.
Thank you!
