Hey guys! I have a Compaq Presario , 512 mb , 160 gig hard drive , AMD athlon 3400+ processor. Now how do i make this computer faster...I need a free method to get my computer Speed up. Like before it used to be so fast...Now so SLOW! IDK what's the problem!!! Help me Please.!

Hi!

The first thing to do would be the prework and post it in the hijackthis section of the forum, this is to ensure there is no malware/spyware slowing things down.

Then there is a few options to optimize things, there is a good tutorial on this site and disable unwanted services.

I got Norton 360 FULL so i'm good, But It feels slow...Like seriously slow, When i click refresh it hangs...2 minutes later....It then refreshs. I don't think it's a Virus of any sort.
