Hi,

For info here is a detailed breakdown of your PC specification; HP and Compaq Desktop PCs -  Motherboard Specifications, K8AE-LM (Opal)
m wondering if its possible to upgrade the prossessor and graphics card?
You only have one PCI (old) slot so a graphics upgrade may be pointless...similarly with the CPU. You have what is effectively a notebook in a PC case.

Also is £70 a decent price for a stick of 1024mb DDR2 memory?
Waaaaay too much!
Crucial 1GB DDR PC3200 CAS3 (CT12864Z40B)

rite, im not to bright when it comes to hardware, but ill give it a shot - please dont have a go if im wrong. Isnt everything connected to the 'motherboard'? if so can that be canged to a new one with a PCI-Express slot and a modern Prossessor slot? if i got a new motherboard, would all my currect PC hardware fit onto it until i got new stuff?

Thanks for the help Hengis.
