My desktop computer won't completely start up. When I turn on the compter it does a disk check. When the disk check is complete, my desktop icons will come up, but only for about 30 to 45 seconds and then the computer automatically restarts and this cycle continues over and over and over again until I do a hard shut down to turn off the computer. 1. What version of Windows are you using?
2. During bootup, press the F8 key.
This should allow you to bootup into the Safe Mode.
3. If you can boot into the Safe Mode, shutdown from the Safe Mode normally. Then, try to bootup normally.
