Default New PC Build Issue

So i just went out and got a Intel Pentium D 925 (3ghz 800hz fsb 2x2mbL2 Cache) and a ECS P4M800PRO-M Motherboard.
I took out my old CPU and Mo-Board and put in my new one, looks good, connected all my componets and drives. Connected my mouse (usb), keyboard (PS2) and Monitor (Non DVI). The board has onboard video and i have a agp card that i tryed. when i turn it on i dont hear a beep, it just turns on and runs, nothing comes up on the monitor and the monitor stays in standbuy mode. My wirless lan card has the green LED lit up and stays on solid, the keyboard lights flash once when i power on. So it looks like everything has power. I checked my RAM and switched the slots and it hasnt made a diffrence.

Anyone got any ideas on what the problem is? Please help asap, i wana use it sooo bad i cant WoW, life is over and i already have seen all the movies out that i want!!!!! lol, but seriously please respond asap.

Hello elopays polo
What operating system are you running? If youre running win xp, im afraid you may have to reinstall windows. The hardware signatures for the old motherboard are on your hard drive, and windows xp wont let you change the hard drive to a different machine if theres significant hardware changes, which is basically what you did with the new board. Its not recognizing the hardware on the new motherboard, ide controller, video adapter, chipset drivers....ect. If you have a copy, or can download a copy of one of the live linux distributions, and try booting it, you can check to be sure everythings working that way. Also, can you get into bios setup and see if its recognizing your hardware?

LOL i was saying i couldnt get anything at all on my screen, but i got it. The CPU wasnt Pushed in far enough, thats the worst part about building a new machine for me, worrying about snapping a 200 dollar piece of plastic "eeek". Well, looks like all is good. Im installing a fresh copy of windows as we i type. thanks anyways. ttyl

Also make sure you put some thermal paste like arctic silver on there so you dont overheat.

What can you change?
Is it just the download speed that is slow, or is it sites coming up slow as well,

go to start..click run then type in command, when the black box opens up type in ipconfig thentype in ping google.com just as written and let us know what it says for the packet time
