Processor/CPU - Cant decide what new cpu to get posted in the Hardware forums; Not sure of what to get,at the moimement I've got a Amd 3200+,1gig ram and a 7600GS.Want to upgrade my cpu first and get a new graphics card sometime next ...

Default Cant decide what new cpu to get

Not sure of what to get,at the moimement I've got a Amd 3200+,1gig ram and a 7600GS.Want to upgrade my cpu first and get a new graphics card sometime next year.
These are my options
1) AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 2.4 GHz - Socket 939 - L2

Amazon.co.uk: Used and New: Processor - 1 x AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ 2.4 GHz Dual-Core - Socket 939 - L2 1 MB ( 2 x 512 KB ) - Box

2) AMD Athlon 64 FX 55 2.6 GHz - Socket 939 - L2 1 MB - Box

4) AMD Athlon64 3800 Venice Retail Socket 939

AMD Athlon64 3800 Venice Retail --- amd athlon64 3800 venice retail, athlon software xp pc from aria .co. uk
Those are all the cpu'sI was looking at but I dont know what would be the best option for me.
The one I'm leaning towards the most is teh Amd Athlon 64 4000+.

Anyone got any thouights about what would be the best value for money upgrade for me?

I would go with the AMD 4600+ x2 since it is dual core. The FX 55 is ok But is old.. But that 4600+x2 will over clock real nice. I have a 4800 but it is at 3.0 ghz

i would go for that. however i would go for an intel c2d but that would mean you would have to buy a new mobo, so go for the 4600.
