Processor/CPU - pc shut down posted in the Hardware forums; help my pc keeps shutting down after 20 minutes is this some sort of virus or could it be overheating thanks for any help...

You have not supplied enough info regarding you computer specs and your operating system. We will be taking stabs in the dark trying to troubleshoot your problems. My crystall ball is not working at the moment also...

Hi mirrormol, welcome to the PCHF!

As Arctos has already said - that's not really enough information.

PC's shutting down automatically can be anything - from virus as you've suggested, to overheating, to actual hardware failure.

Can you please post a bit more information about your computer and what you've already attempted?

Also, can you please follow the prework link in my signiture and post the resulting logs back here for our security team to have a look at??
