Default Processor Upgrades. Options?

Hey everyone. I have a good bit of money right now and was wanting to upgrade my computer some. Here's what I know of my computer...

eMachines T6410

AMD 2.19GHz Athlon 64 3200+ (Socket 754)
1023MB RAM
160 GB Hard Drive
ATI Radeon Express 200 On-board Graphics (Disabled)

Upgrades I've Done:
ATI Radeon X700PRO graphics card
Rosewill 450W Power Supply

The main thing I was wondering is if it would be worth it to upgrade the processor to something better, if there is anything better. If so, would I have to adjust anything in the BIOS or would it automatically adjust itself to the new processor? Is there anything else I could do to make it load programs and play games quicker? Would it even be worth it with all these dual-core processors and stuff coming out?? Sorry if something doesn't make sense. This computer is mainly used for gaming and the web. If you all need any more info, just ask. Thanks in advance!

Hi jimmyo, welcome to the PC Help Forum.

I'd suggest 3 upgrades (if it's in your budget).

Motherboard to a Socket 939 board (which will give you dual core capabilities).
CPU to a dual core CPU
and video card to a mid range video card.

These 3 upgrades will improve your computers load time and game performance.
