hello
i urgently require help, my pc has stopped booting only the fans come on and front power and hdd lights come on and there is no boot up at all. my pc has been working fine until now. yesterday night i was using it as normal then suddenly it just completly froze this has never happened b4 so i reset it and thats wen it failed 2 boot again. i do not no what the problem is ive tried a different graphics card it still wont boot up and currently i do not have any other parts to test.
my specs are
p4 2800ghz ht
asus p4 s800 motherboard
512mb x2 27ghz ram
120gb harddrive
geforce 4 fx 5200 128b

please help me it will be much appriciated

Things to try:

1) Remove the power cable from the PC for a good 5 mins and then try again
2) Remove the bios battery from the motherboard and the power cable - 5 mins replace and test
3) Boot with minimal components (1 stick of RAM - CPU, 1 hard drive, 1 optical drive, graphics card)

ive actually given it a whole night without the power cable in still was the same ill give the other 2 a try

the death of my pc is confirmed the motherbards packed in i will be doing an upgrade
