Default cpu fan failed (English)

Every time i play a game or i do some things at the same time i hear the announcement: cpu fan failed. This is very annoing.
If i'm right this means that the fan doesn't work anymore right?
well, i opened my pc but the fan is working so the announcement isn't right. How can i disable it so i don't hear it anymore?

Well.... do you have any kind of monitor software on your PC-- such as SpeedFan ??

Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

It would be a good idea... to me. It's better than being unsure. Gaming pushes your system harder than just about any other activity -- everything is stressed-- especially your CPU/video card. Stress generates more heat. Heat is your CPU's enemy... and it can cause permanent damage.

Another thing to try first-- have you cleaned your PC lately?? It is one of the most overlooked problems. the cooling fans are constantly circulating air through your case. I clean mine about once a month-- sooner if I see temps creeping up. Cooling fans and ducts (if present) MUST be kept clean/free of dust. It clogs filters/slows shaft speeds.

I would still recommend SpeedFan or Motherboard Monitor-- they are both free and can be set to "alarm" if your fans are running too slow or stop/check CPU temps.

If you game-- you need them.

Hi RobMan, CPU's get damanged around 90deg these days...
but it takes about 1 seconds to get upto that temp when the fan isn't working.

If you
52deg is fine...especially for such an old AMD.

What motherboard do you have? It might just be a BIOS option in that.

Have a look through your BIOS settings (should be somehwere near Health or something similar)..and have CPU Fan Warning...
each bios is different
