System Specs:
Mid Tower Raidmax case with 420W power supply(came with the case)
Pentium 4 prescott 2.8GHZ 800fsb HT
I just replaced the hs/fan I had with my stock one and the temperature went from the 60s/70s down to the 40s and 50s!
1024GB of PNY DDR2 533(4 sticks of 256mb)
120GB HDD samsung
DVDrom/cdrw/cdrom sony combo drive
chainmax 128mb Geforce 6600GT 550mhz
chainmax sound card
My temps are much lower and it runs a little smoother, although im still having problems with "stuttering" programs especially when im playing music and I go to open say....fire fox itll start stuttering, then it'll stop after i pause and play again or go to the next song.

I'm gonna try to do the above suggestion and run for malware, if that doesn't fix anything...I think it's either my power supply, my ram, or my processor is messed up.
it might help to tell you that once I accidentally hit my elbow hard against my desk and my computer froze and shut off by itself.
that's when things started happening.

thank you guys soo much you are awesome

thanks a bunch
im gonna try this malware scan now

I don't see a change yet, unless i need to restart first

Could you post the HJT log?
Our Security guys can take a look at it then.
Also, it's never a bad idea to restart.
