HELP HELP HELP HELP

I just got my pc too work fine without any overclocking, except from the APE provided with the x800pro toxic (which ajusts it's self to the cards heat) and then sudennly yesterday and totay it randomly restarted in the middle of a game.

I worried pc is overheating and frying it's self. Someone please reassure me this is not the case. Otherwise this might happen :undecided>>.

Yesterday i was playing Call of duty 1 United Offensive multiplayer and my Broadband disconnected, (because we have a **** line sometimes) and then the pc just rebooted. I thought this was very strange and i thought it was my little bro at the time pressing buttons, as it was him playing at the same time. However i came to the conclusion that it couldn't off been him cos the exact same thing just happened to me while Playing juiced. However it didn't reboot it just died and the screen turned off. So i held the on button in for 5secs and then turned it off and restarted normally.

Nothing different durring reboot except after i logged into windows when my x800pro APE program said that 'windows failed to boot last time, continue anyway' and i clicked yes because this is the same message that comes up after the first time you install it.

For some reason i came to the conclution that it must be something over heating, cos i was playing highly PC stressing games in full graphics.

Before playing juiced, i was kickin' **** on F.E.A.R then got bored and decided to play on a racing game. i.e Juiced. Typically i was ten metres away form the finnish line when :computer_ and i went . and then i remembered, when the winter come we put the central heating on and my pc is in a corner unit and around 20cm of my radiator overlaps into my corner unit and the pc is around 10cm away from it.

This is the only two times this has done it. Is it a overheating of is there a virus about, cos i is not scanning my PC

HELP HELP HELP HELP

mmmmmmmmmffmfm fmffm fmfmf fmf (HaRdLoCk is crying, cos his pc never work propally, HaRdLoCk + technolgy = Bang)

Hi there Hardlock?
Do you know your mainboard type/model?
To check whether your PC is overheating or not could you download Motherboard Monitor here, and check for the temperatures.

First thing i would do is place youre pc somewhere else then besides the radiator.

unfortunatly moving it away from the radiator is not possible, the pc is molded into a open area and it took me ages to fit the damb case in there, this had to be done because the case it 10cm longer than my units that i just bought.

so i had to mount it side ways cutting through one of the units and that was a pig in its self.

Why dont Mfi, B&Q etc... make office units that fit real pc'c not the little shuttles. (even though they are really cool)

also, do you think it was the CPU cos i am still using the official fan that comes with *** and the processor is a Prescott, which i know do get slightly hotter than 775 chips. Do you know any better fan/heatsinks

i have, i din't see any thing different and windows didn't say it had done anything wrong and i'v been montering my temps using the Mobo moniter i dowloaded that your staf said to use and the highest temp is in the 50-61deg.

as i am typing the temp is 39 stable and my case says the heat sink is 32. but thats cos i'm only listening to music, which only uses 2-4% cpu usage.

Know any good fans i can shove on my pentium

Your temps seem fine - I think that your problem lies elsewhere.

Grab a good free virus scanner like AVG and run a full scan.
