Default [Fixed] Video Capture Prob (CPU Prob)

I have made several videos before w/o problems.? Recently i added more FireWire ports, and external HDD, and a new gfx card to my comp.? Now when i start up my video editing program (adobe premiere) my computer is fine, but as soon as i click Capture, it gets all screwed up.? My CPU usage goes to 100% instantly and the comp becomes slower than molases in january!? The camera is plugged in via FireWire and is turned on.? I have several programs and i get the same result no matter which one i use... Like i said i have done this many times on this exact comp before w/o any problems... Any ideas?

thanx
-Daem

I have a AMD Athlon XP 2500+ 1.83 GHz, 1.0 GB of RAM

-I noticed that my CPU usage is at 100% even when i am just playin my little online rpg, so i fear it may be time for an upgrade, if this is the case i have some questions

which 2 devises are they? And Is thre a yellow exclamation mark next to them. If you want to do this the easy way to see if it works. Right click on the device and click check for hardware changes. If it comes up with somthing Uninstall it and reboot. Windows should install it upon reboot most of the time.
