ok my current CPU is a 1.83 Gigahertz. If i were to upgrade to a 2.16 (which is the largest the Socket A goes as far as i can find) would that fix the problem? I realize you dont know for sure, but what i mean is: is that a large enough upgrade to make a difference? I dont really wanna buy a new CPU, MOBO, PSU, RAM, and Video Card..... or does anyone know of a larger Socket A proscessor...?

thanx

well you can get an AMD 3000+ that runs at 2.2 ghz and its a mobile so stays very cool. And can be easily overclocked to 2.6 ghz
